    1099-NEC look wrong to me

    Customer have a 1099-NEC box 1 have posted $640.00/WK box 7 income $25,600.00 is this incorrect

      I believe you just need to speak with your client and understand the $$ earned.
      Based on what I see, I believe box 7 amount should be reported in box 1 as well. What I interpret here is that your client worked 40 weeks for $640 week. Clearly I believe the form was not completed correctly, but that isn't your issue since you did not file it. Your goal is to report the correct amount and only your client can tell you what that is....hopefully.

        The taxpayer worked with a private cleaning service and received this format of a 1099-NEC where to file the amount will it box #7, he has no business he owe

          Your client can tell you how much he earned from ALL his clients, including those who send Forms 1099-NEC and those who did not, for you to report on his Schedule C.
