    Gentlemen and scholars

Know what I like about this board? It's good, decent, civil, polite, and sophisticated. The fairly standard display here of courtesy, literate discussion, and regard for the feelings of others speaks well for our conscientious posters -- far and away superior to many other sites where people routinely insult/curse others in unintelligible rants.

Anyway, a round of applause for all you guys and gals who are doing your part to provide enjoyable posting/reading for us. And, another one as well for our wonderful hosts -- Brad, Paul, and their TMI associates for providing this oasis of education and civilization.

With nicknames like Black Bart and Snaggletooth, it's a good question! I guess if you quote Burns, you can get admitted anyplace...

I'll drink to that; a toast to Rabbie Burns. But please, NO haggis.

I agree. Some boards aren't very nice to visit.

I guess I must be a scholar. I certainly can't be in the category of "gentleman". I was born that way.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.

When I saw the title of this thread, I almost skipped it over since it obviously wasn't addressed to me. Then Bart adds such words as "good, decent, civil, polite, sophisticated, literate" - I was getting pretty discouraged, but I kept reading anyhow.

In the end, I do agree with Bart's assessment - this is a great forum, and thanks to TMI for providing it.

I hate to be thick, but I don't see what you're referring to. Can I just ask my question here?

                          Try this

Click at the top in the grey area to the right where it has "Update Service" "Message Board" "Links" etc. You will want to click on the "Message Board"

When you are at the "Message Board" page, you will then see the "Blue Oval New Thread" Click on that - above "Threads In Forum"-. You will be able to give your post a "Title" and then post your Message.

Erchess beat me to the answer, so glad you found it and are posting.

Who let the wimmenfolk on this board? It was so simple before they
went to school and learnt how to ask questions like Beth did.

After all, she can be an inspiration - I'm going to learn my wife
how to do taxes! When life gives you wimmen, make wimmenade!!
