This is simply a case of price. You get what you pay for. Only we have an idiot journalist who wants to turn it into a discrimination issue.Last edited by Bees Knees; 03-28-2008, 07:29 AM.

Example:
ProSeries supports Form 8594, Asset Acquisition Statement, used for when you sell a group of assets used in a trade or business. TurboTax does not. Same software company. Same basic engine running both. Except certain forms are missing in the consumer version, such as Form 8594. Is it due to poor software design by people who know little about taxes? Is it because TurboTax is discriminating against those who want to sell their business?
No. Its because one sells for $1,299.00 and the other sells for $29.95.Last edited by Bees Knees; 03-28-2008, 07:43 AM.
