My software (atx) has a stimulus 1040A. When I put the actual amount of interest on the form with the soc sec or pension, it has been rejecting. Says I can't have that. I can efile a regular 1040 with the correct interest amount. I'd like to send in a correct form. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix?

I read on the Drake board (I think it was) that for electronic filing to show "Stimulus Payment" for the bank and put in the amount of $1.00 as an interest amount. This will allow electronic filing.Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".
