    Birdlegs Passing

This morning Stevie "Birdlegs" Wells passed away. He had been a very active participant in this board and really felt a very special sense of community with all of you. The term "good man" is very cliche, but Stevie was that. He was deeply religious, but very open minded, very caring for his family and friends, a fine preparer always available to help out clients and preparer friends. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear he has passed away. It is strange to feel such a loss for someone I never actually met.

Birdlegs was truly a very important member of this board and I will miss him.

          We will all

miss this gentleman who most of us have never met. I would like to add my thoughts and prayers for his family to those of the rest of the community. I wonder if the owners of the board could, after a time, send our comments to his family.

                Pass on Comments

I was planning on passing on the comments in thread and the one last week to his family. I am sure they will be comforted by the warm regard Stevie was held in by all.

Although I am considered a junior member

this news really hits hard to all of us. It almost feels like you know a person even though you have never met; especially in these technologically advanced times we are in.

I know that every response to my questions from Birdlegs was answered with the utmost respect and courtesy.

May he rest in peace; we should all find comfort knowing he is finally home.

                          Birdlegs

As one, in a handful of the more popular contributors on this board, Birdlegs will be sorely missed.

When I first visited the board some years ago, his posts were the first posts I would seek to see what he had to say in response to everyone's questions. You always knew he would be so willing to help us all and that he was so respectful of us all, as well.

I will really miss this kind spirit. God bless.

                          Dennis

I'm saddened as well. He "touched" many here.
