Hi All,
A colleague of mine is a registered tax preparer. They participated in a seminar selling subscripton to a tax resolution software (message for their name). This software uses your id.me account to access 2848s registered to you to review the client's transcripts and provide reports. There is a client who owes >$70k form not filing returns for 5 years. She believes this software will provide instructions on how to proceed with creating a Offer in Compromise. The subscription is $200 monthly. I am curious if you use or know about these type of softwares (tax resolution) - and do you see or find value in subscribing. I do believe there is a 'ala carte' fee beyond the subscription.
Appreciate your response. Thank you.
