    Taxpayer, a U.S. Citizen, is a permanent resident of the UK. Taxpayer receives Social Security payments form the U.S. Are the Social Security payments subject to U.S. Federal taxes?

    Absolutely. But that depends on what OTHER taxable and HOW MUCH other taxable income there is.
