Is there insurance for tax prepares similar to the "Ommissions and Errors" insurance security professionals get coverage for. If so, who do you use as your insurance provider?

I have mine through Forrest T. Jones & Co from Kansas City, Missouri.
The insurance carrier is The St. Paul.

I've got it through my membership in the National Society of Accountants.

          I don't

I don't have insurance. In my practice, a client may occasionally incur a penalty related to filing, but I don't give the kind of investment advice that could go seriously wrong. I point that out in my engagement letter. Besides, my net worth is not likely to interest a lawyer.
