    Insurance for your practice

Does any one have insurance for there tax preparation practice? Just is case one of your lovely clients decides to sue you. Is there insurance for tax prepares similar to the "Ommissions and Errors" insurance security professionals get coverage for. If so, who do you use as your insurance provider?

        Insurance for your Practice

I have mine through Forrest T. Jones & Co from Kansas City, Missouri.
The insurance carrier is The St. Paul.

I've got it through my membership in the National Society of Accountants.

          I don't

I don't have insurance. In my practice, a client may occasionally incur a penalty related to filing, but I don't give the kind of investment advice that could go seriously wrong. I point that out in my engagement letter. Besides, my net worth is not likely to interest a lawyer.
