    Asset catergory for rented garage

    Would a stand-alone garage on a residential rental fall under a 15 yr land improvement asset? Property also has barn that is rented.

    No. Buildings are specifically excluded from land improvement class.

        Unless it can be justified as being a farm building, 27.5 years would be the appropriate term.
