    Asset catergory for rented garage

    Would a stand-alone garage on a residential rental fall under a 15 yr land improvement asset? Property also has barn that is rented.

      No. Buildings are specifically excluded from land improvement class.

          How about I go same with the house 27.5?

          How about 27.5, same as the Rental house. Please chime in

              Unless it can be justified as being a farm building, 27.5 years would be the appropriate term.
