ACA and medicaid

TP does not have insurance, his child is covered under Medicaid. his income for two is below poverty in a state that did not expand Medicaid. on the 8965, I list the father with exemption G, do I need to list the child? he has insurance. where is this verified?

where is this verified?

No where, as far as I can tell. I suppose the IRS could tell by the fact someone is not present on the 8965 that that someone has insurance (or at least, the taxpayer is claiming they have insurance.)
