TP does not have insurance, his child is covered under Medicaid. his income for two is below poverty in a state that did not expand Medicaid. on the 8965, I list the father with exemption G, do I need to list the child? he has insurance. where is this verified?

No where, as far as I can tell. I suppose the IRS could tell by the fact someone is not present on the 8965 that that someone has insurance (or at least, the taxpayer is claiming they have insurance.)Originally posted by JenMO View Post
