    Business Property Tax--NC

I'm still researching this. If a business is located in one county of NC, and the items are stored in another county in NC, what county property tax is it listed on?

The property is listed on the property tax form for the county in which it is physically located.
Most NC property tax listing forms have a place to identify other NC counties where property tax is located.

Thanks John, I had FINALLY figured that out right before I saw this!! You verified for me, thanks!! Do you happen to know how a person goes about getting permission from the NCDOR for permission to change sales tax from accrual to cash for sales tax purposes?

Sorry, I don't know how to make the sales tax change.
I think I'd start by just writing them a letter requesting the change.

I can't imagine it being a problem unless there are huge dollars involved, because in the long run it all evens out anyhow.
