NT / Just Sign It Already

I wish I had a nickel for everytime a client stopped while signing Form 8879 to ask what middle initial I had. Well, let's see, the same one I've had for 100 years now. Take a gander at your return one of these days when you have time. Just sign however the mood strikes you, or with your actual middle initial, and get outta here.

If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, did we?
Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

At this point in your post I was curious where you were going to take us, then, BOOM . . . you nailed it!
The question is usually, "How do they have me?"

My comment was said in a jesting tone, as should have been seen by my adding the smilie face. Sorry to see that you have chosen to take it in a hostile way.

I was joking, too. Even sent you a personal message to be sure you knew. LOL.

It really doesn't matter how "they" have it. Sign your usual signature.

Thanks for your pm. Now I will "shut up" and go back to work.

                          Both of you shut up.
The noise is distracting me and I can't get any work done over here !

                            Middle Names

Some people do have two middle names such as George Herbert Walker Bush (President before Clinton) and Carl Ferdinand Howard Henry (Christian Theologian and founding editor of Christianity Today). I've never had such a client but I wonder whether it is important to use the same middle initial every filing season?

Not really. You will find that even if they use one that is incorrect, it doesn't matter a whit. Note that I said "they" because I never make a mistake and put the wrong initial on the tax return......
