Help settle a conflict in a conversation:
Conflict:
Client said that they are entitled for a $10,000 exclusion from Income of a IRA withdrawl before age 59 1/2 in addition to the exclusion of the early withdrawl penalty.
I say it only applies to the exclusion of the early withdrawl penalty but the 10,000 is considered Income
