    Well, I asked accountants that I knew understood the return. He'll find somebody that doesn't know what's involved who will do it for $125. And, they will use my return as a guide. Oh, well.

    I have noticed that some clergy don't like to pay, too. This one did not pay income tax on $32,000 of income when you count the double-dip for mortgage interest and property tax. Don't blame him one bit. It's like EIC for clergy. I don't think Joe Public or Jean Congregation knows this. If they did, I think the freebies would decline.
    If you loan someone $20 and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

        From the invoices that I have seen, that would be at least a $300 return from H & R.

          client had H&R do his 2008 tax return fed with a schedule A (with amortized points)and state=$398
