Anyone use TaxWorks Software?

Kind of expensive, but I wonder how it works.

I've used it for 18 years. Works great. I do All 1040's, 1065's, 1120,s one 990.

The company for whom I contract provides

TAXWORKS. I found it very easy to use and comprehensive. It is currently owned by H&R Block.

Not according to their website. About $2,000 for everything.

I was just curious. TaxWorks promoted by NCPE and their speakers.

I always look at other software.

Drake is fine. But their forum has some recent grumblings from others about quality.

$299 via TRX

$299 via TRX for TaxWorks. Someone on ATX unofficial board said that included RIA research, so he bought it sight unseen figuring he paid more than that for RIA alone so was ahead of the game even if he ends up disliking TaxWorks! That's only until 1 May, so hurry to check out TRX Alliance. Some people did get their deadlines extended to 31 May, so you can always ask.

currently about 2000.00 for all. This year was better than others with there support a little faster. Still expensive..

The website for TRX Alliance offers TaxWorks for $299. I'd never buy an H&R Block product, but that sounds like a good price if you already like TaxWorks. You can also check out TaxWorks users and those who've dealt with TRX resellers on the ATX Community board. You don't have to pay $2,000.

but didn't know it was Taxworks. I bought it for the price but will stay with it because I really like the software. In addition, next year, for $299 their business management software will be an added plus. Thhe program more than met my needs and the needs of my clients.

Last year you might have gotten TaxWise from TRX, but CCH is not reselling either ATX nor TaxWise via TRX anymore. Now TRX has a contract with TaxWorks. Check out the discussions at ATXCommunity.com
