furnished them by such an organization .
Since IRS doesnt' really recognize an LLC as separate entity, my reasoning is that the

That's what my client received. A W9 with corporation checked. I'm thinking they do not need a 1099.

Just checked with the IRS. If the W9 is checked Corporation, they don't need a 1099 (unless they meet one of the exceptions for corporations i.e. attorneys, etc.)Last edited by Auto; 01-16-2009, 03:27 PM.
