    Identity theft hotline

    Following is a copy of an email from IRS Quick Alerts. This is scheduled to open on
    October 1st.

    ATTN: Software Developers, Return Transmitters and Authorized IRS e-file
    Providers/EROs

    The hotline provides assistance for individuals who believe they may be a
    victim of Identify Theft: with no known Tax Administration Impact and those
    who have a current identity theft related tax issue which has not been
    resolved. Please call toll free (800-908-4490).

    Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. your local time
    (Alaska & Hawaii follow Pacific Time).
    Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".
