    Holding the auditor to a deadline...

    and watching the audit inventory is the job of the group manager, not you.

    On the other hand, after 6 weeks on my last one, I left a message wondering if there was any more info required. Got a favorable report a couple of days later.

        You could call and check in. The last one I had that was an office audit... he had other fish to fry and quickly wrapped it up after I called him.
