Is there anyone out there who is a Tax Treaty interpretation whiz? I have a question about the Pakistan US Tax Treaty. In reading the details, there are too many pronouns!
Sorry Jill, no takers - I think tax treaty people are few and far between. Certainly not me. Try your Texas Board of Accountancy to get some references.
I'm only responding to bring your thread back up to the top one more time.
the Texas Bar Association for a tax lawyer with experience reading treaties? Treaties are after all legal rather than accounting documents so the skill of reading something and having some idea of how the courts would interpret it is relevant and is not as far as I know something a CPA with no JD would be expected to have.
