    Far too little information for an answer. Start with whether the father has any earned income.

      Yes

      The Father Has $2500.00 And Lived With The Child The Etire Year.
      From What I Have Read, That Qualifies Him. What Do You Think?

        Not if the father was born after 1985. Don't look for a quick answer. You have to work through all the details.

          Age limitations for the taxpayer do not apply to EIC if the taxpayer in question has a qualifying child. Age limits are only applicable to those who do not have a qualifying child.

            Right, but for EIC a qualifying child can't have a qualifying child, so if the father is age 18 or younger, living with his parents and his baby, he can't claim EIC.
