    Nonqualified annuity rollover

    Is there a tax event if a nonqualified annuity is rolled over directly to a new nonqualified annuity?. Assume that the original annuity includes generated income. No cash is paid to the annuitant.

      If a 1035 exchange occurred

      than there is no taxable event. Just a question, was the account value on the date the exchange more or less than the original contribution(s)?
