    Final EA Exam

Well I passed part 3 of the EA exam today. Yaaa!. I am so happy to get all this testing over. Took about 1 1/2 months to study this part. Just took my time. Using Gleim and did one chapter a week. The questions on the exam were different than what I studied. Some questions did not make much sense. I am not sure if it was just me or if it was some of the "experiment" questions they throw in. It took me about 1 hour to take the test. The man at the testing center said that was the quickest he had ever seen someone take a test. I told him I had really studied for it. I either knew it or I didn't

Gleim did help me learn so much through all the testing. I guess the only thing I would say is that the study questions need to focus on the penalty amounts more for Part 3. Their study materials are excellent and I think it served it purpose to help me learn the information so I could answer the questions on the exam not just memorize the questions I was studying.

I am so happy and will submit my application next week. I don't mean to be prideful but this means so much to me that I passed these tests. I never thought I would be in a position to own a business and then have the opportunity to become a enrolled agent. Just makes me feel so good.

I hope my posts on the exam will help some of you that may go forward to take it.

Thank you all for your help

      Congrats

I found Part 2 to be the hardest part ( most material) . I used EA Review and found them to be excellent as well. Congrats on your achievement!

                          Good For You!

I am happy that you passed...Welcome to the world of the Enrolled Agent, you should be very proud of your accomplishments...YAH!!!

I jokingly tell folks it took me 31 years to get my EA designation...Well, that is because I retired from the IRS and got my EA license via my past experience...I remember how happy I was that (after about six months of waiting) my license was issued and it was not restricted (some retirees have a restricted practice license due to their experience or lack there of within the IRS)...

Congratulations. It is not easy to pass that exam. You worked hard and your EA card is well deserved.

                            Be proud.

                              Congratulations

You are to be commended for all you have accomplished - you own your own business and soon you will be an EA and, I hope, a member of NAEA. Your clients are lucky to have found you and if they are wise they will do what you tell them. If they stray too far from what you tell them, you would be wise to send them packing.
