    Casualty loss

    Client's mobile home burned. Mobile home insured but not contents. How do I list everything on the 4684? Can I just put clothing, appliances, furniture,etc. This is my first casualty with alot of different items. Any help will be appreciated.

      I would list 2 items.
      1. Mobile home - Value + reimb
      2. Contents - Value

      Total S/be 10% greater than AGI

          as Ismith. But tell the client to keep a completed list of contents in case of audit.

              Detail

              List as much detail as possible. Since you need dollar amounts, detail is necessary to support those amounts.
