Client's child is 24 years old and mental.
Worked for 2 years at a sawmill stacking lumber, and got to the point with his medications that he could no longer work.
In April, was notified that he will receive $424.67 monthly SSI, what Social Security calls "Supplemental Security Income." At the same time, he was notified that he will begin receiving $671.00 monthly "Retirement, Survivors, and Disability Insurance" starting in July, 2008.
At present, he is receiving only the $424.67 SSI, and I know he can't receive both. I didn't think he could receive anything but SSI until he turns 62.
Can anyone help? Thanks, Snag
