    kids go to summer camp, it that deductible as either an education or child care expense?

      I think it's eligible for the the child care credit if it's day camp and you're sending Junior so you can work, like day-care. Don't think overnight camp will fly.

          Camp as a child and dependent care expenses is covered in IRS Pub 17 page 212.

          Overnight camp does not qualify. Day camp may qualify.
