    divorce

In a divorce settlement, the total IRA's and 401K will be split between the two.

All the 401K is in his name. When it is split, it will not be a taxable event unless it does NOT go into a similar plan, right?

    thanks,

    agreed

The spouse receiving 1/2 the 401k will now have a 401k in his or her name due to the QUADRO. There are no tax implications

thanks. Is there a publication I need to read before going to the mediator? It's my own divorce.
