Piggybacked ID return

Not sure if I should be seeing an ID 8879, 8453, etc if the return is piggybacked with the Fed. I don't, so I assume no.

I do a Federal/Idaho each year, I just get acknowledgement from my software company that Idaho EF was accepted. No other paper work, nothing to send to Idaho.

Gene is right, I also do a resident Idaho return each year, and our software, nor Idaho require the State 8879 or 8453. You should just receive the efile ACK and E confirmation from Idaho for the software that you and I use.
