Would any of you knowledgeable tax experts be able to recommend a very detailed publication on corporations/S-corps giving in-depth answers with numerous examples or a good seminar??

We recommend NCPE seminars. Unfortuately, the corporation/partnership seminars are held in the later summer - none during tax season, as the seminar speakers are all practioners. Good luck.

S-corp manual
I ordered the 1120S express answers from CCH along with 1065 Express answers. I just received them yesterday and I must say I am impressed with the info provided. I use "the tax book" daily and love it but wanted something that goes a little deeper on 1065 and S-corp and the price was right. Both contain about 300 pages or more each.Last edited by Bucky; 01-28-2006, 01:25 PM.

is a very good seminar. But it does not give you practice returns to do, if that is what you are looking for. But the seminars are very informative, even when you are starting out and feel like you don't know very much.
I haven't seen their textbooks in several years. But in the past I took H & R Block's corporation class. You definitely do practice returns in that class. I really wanted to take it again but couldn't ever find out if they were offering it in my area.
