    Foreign tax paid

    Taxpayer worked oversea in 2007.

    He paid tax on his earnings to the country where he worked in January 2008.

    Can he claim what he paid in 2008 as 'foreign tax credit' in his 2007 income tax return?

          I've always seen on form "paid or accrued". Take a look at 1116.
