    NJ question

My son-in-law began working for a company based in New Jersey and they live in St Louis. He noticed on his first paycheck that, along with MO withholding, there is also NJ withholding, NJ disability and NJ unemployment.
My daughter called the company, and was told that that is the way they are supposed to do it. Anyone who works for a NJ company has to have the NJ withholdings.
She's still trying to get it changed, but if she has no luck, who should she contact in NJ to report this?

You might want to take a look at this before your daughter in law starts trying to stir things up over the withholding issues:

John/Cathy, The MO employee does not work in NJ so no NJ W/H should be done. Unless this employee is a Virtual Employee...?? Although in the link above they only refer to physically present in NJ for withholding.
