Maximum Foreign Income Exclusion for 2008

If a MFJ couple (both satisfy physical presence test (Hong Kong) and are both employed by a foreign owned companies, what is the maximum exclusion? If only 1 spouse works?
I know its $87,600, but not sure per taxpayer or return?

    for married couples,

    Good day,

the following paragraph/section header appears on page 3 of the instructions for Form 2555:

"Married couples. The following rules apply if both you and your spouse qualify for the tax benefits of Form 2555."

Obviously, the amount of income that may be excluded is $87,XXX per person.
Just because I look dumb does not mean I am not.

I like IRS pubs for info

but I have found it easier to look at the Taxbook first. See page 14-14 for your answer.
