Corporation Loss-Carry forward-back?

    Corporation Loss-Carry forward-back?

    If a corporation has a loss for the year, must we carry it back? I have forgotten the rules on this. Need to request this? Help anyone?

      A corporation may elect to forego the carryback and carry a loss forward only. A separate election is no longer required, as F-1120 now has a checkbox for this right on the return form itself.
