My roommates just went out to pick up a pizza. One of 'em's mother & grandmother were just in a horrific car accident on Sunday so that put everything into perspective...my stress was much less than her's as she left for Fresno Sunday afternoon. And mine is still less...they are both alive but will be in the hospital for quite a long time. So here's to another tax season over, and good health and happiness to all.

Time Difference
Well Dennis, I was done about 3 hours prior to you since now I am on the East coast. That really didn't help as I was still on the phone with Calif clients, and the phone calls haven't stopped, one reason or another.
This has been a really "difficult" tax season and I am not sure why, seems like several posters on the Board have also experienced, so at least I know that you and I are not alone!
Guess we will rethink for the 2008 filing season, right now I just need to regroup, and about 7PM tonight I finally started to breath and m brain started to clear. So I will be able to do those "tough" tax returns over the next few days, now that there is no pressure.
Who ever made up the rule that taxes had to be filed by 4/15, and only give us about 90 days to accomplish this task?
My best wishes to all on the board, and hope everyone had a successful season even though it seemed stressful. And thank you to everyone for posting and assisting not only myself but all of the other very valuable posters on the Board.
I am sure everyone will wind down for the next few days, but I hope also, that some are monitoring the board so they can either post their questions or answers to the other posts.

Chocolate
I've been living on iced tea and chocolate. Gotta get the caffeine outta my system. And, my eyes are so dry and burning and I can't get the rocks out of them no matter how much of the drops I use. I stopped taking my allergy medicine a couple of days ago, because it dries out my eyes. So, now I'm sneezing and stuffed up and miserable, but my eyes aren't getting any worse. Since I needed my eyes more and stopped caring if I sneezed on clients weeks ago, it was probably a good trade. My husband's a teacher and often his spring break overlaps the end of tax season, so we're going away tomorrow afternoon to Saturday. I want to sleep and have no phone calls from clients nor emails nor anything at all. Thank you to everyone who posts and provides the water cooler to my new home office. I'll see you all in less than a week. I have soooooooooo many extensions.
