Gabriele - your name rolls so eloquently off the end of my tongue, and when I see your name on a post I am reminded of what a magnificent contributor you are. I hate to see you change, but I understand there are reasons. Once I felt the need to change as well, and did so, then changed back.

We already have a "Maria" -- suggest try something distinctively German.
