I think I've determined that this LLC can be filed on a Sched C (single member) because of the new law without effecting their Limited Liability status for other purposes. I noticed on the 8829 it says "name of proprietor", I haven't found anything yet on the home office rules for an LLC being different than a propretorship? Is it???

A single member LLC that hasn't elected to be taxed as an S-corp is a disregarded entity and you file it on a Sch C just as if those little LLC words weren't there. So Sch C, 8829 etc, etc. If it is a multi-member LLC you don't have that luxury. Although your state may have issues with an LLC vs an SP(like CA does).
