    interest on RV loan as second home

    The interest on an RV loan is a personal loan but an RV can be classified as a second home. Just want to be sure the interest is deductible as it is not "mortgage" interest, but a personal loan.

      Yes

      If it has a bathroom, kitchen and sleeping facilities. The interest goes on non-1098 interest.

          Is the interest for a loan that's secured by the motor home? Or is it a personal loan?
