    installment sale question

    does close held corporation shares of stock qualify for installment sale treatment? I have not looked beyond THETAXBOOK....I did not find that addressed

    I am fearful that it might bring a constructive receipt question...

    Anyone got a quick answer

      Yes. Non-publicly traded stock must be reported under installment sales rules unless you elect out.
