Indiana resident - spouse non resident

    Indiana resident - spouse non resident

    I hope there are folks from Indiana here. Have full year Indiana resident with wife who is full year Arizona resident. They will file jointly. I know what to do for Arizona - but am wondering what form to file for Indiana. Any help?

      File Form IT-40PNR

      If one spouse is a full-year resident of Indiana and the other spouse is a full-year nonresident of Indiana, they will file Form IT-40PNR. If they claimed a federal filing status of MFJ, they must claim an Indiana filing status of MFJ.
