Do you need to file the K-1 with the 1120S or do you just give the K-1 to the shareholder who then files it with their 1040 return?

a schedule K is attached to the 1120 and a K-1 is given to each shareholder to aid in preparing their 1040.

1120S fed K-1 copies are filed with the federal. Not only are the filed, but 2005 starts the matching program, again. It did not go well the last time, but nothing stops them...
