This time of year, I'm amazed how fast a post will shuffle to the back of the bus if there are no responses. If such a post starts in Minnetonka, it gets shoved all the way to Fargo faster than you can drive there...

You are as helpful and willing as anyone, Sandy -- I appreciate you and so do others.

There are certain towns which have several subject matter experts - what I call the "military hotbeds." Towns that owe large parts of their economy to the military.
Wichita, Seattle, Houston, Huntsville, Charleston, etc.

I am close to Huntsville, but am having trouble finding someone willing to sit down with me for about 4 hours. They're all too busy doing what?? Yep, taxes.

Like the rest of us, you'll have to put that client on extension and look for a contact/lesson in military issues after tax season. Don't know a thing. My only connection was attending mother/son Space Camp in Huntsville many year back. Quite an experience. Chelsea Clinton arrive for the next session with lots of Secret Service; and an original astronaut dropped of his grandson (memory fried right now). And, you can't get there from CT, took three planes each way and a long walk from the nearest motel (which lost power on that hot, summer night and had to wait for an A/C part to get airlifted in!).
