Locking in Display Mode

Every time I access this message board, I am not able to read the responses to each
question. I must click upon Display Modes on the right, then click upon Switch to
Linear Mode before the responses can be seen. How can I LOCK THIS in to avoid
this procedure every time?

Go to UserCP in upper left. Click on Edit Options. There is a setting under thread display options that allows you to change your setting to linear. Then click save changes at the bottom.
