Form 8332-what do I do with it??

    I think I goofed.

Client is noncustodial parent, and ex signed form 8332, whicn I have. I electronically filed the tax return (and it was accepted), but I think I was suppose to use from 8453 with the return and did not.

Properly listed children as not living with client on return.

Do I need to send in the 8332 someplace? First time I've had this situation- help!

    attach to 8453

Yes, you need to attach the 8332 to a form 8453 and mail it to the appropriate IRS center. To what city do you transmit returns?

This return had a return, so went to Fresno CA electronically.

So what do I need to do to CORRECT this issue?

        what i would do

print out a blank form 8453 from your software or IRS.gov, fill in top informational section (including DCN), mark the appropriate check box, attach 8332 and mail to:
        Internal Revenue Service
        Attn: Shipping and receiving, 0254
        Receipt and Control Branch
        Austin, TX 73344-0254
should be mailed within 3 business days of acknowledgement.
