I think I deciphered from your post (as most are hard to follow) that people who are filing for a stimulus check are afraid they will get audited? But, then you said they already got their checks. Now I'm really confused.

People are so frightened of the IRS until if they get anything besides their refund they call me and freak out. They don't understand. Even a doctor called and asked what is these papers for? I already have my money.

Does somebody think he/she has already received their economic stimulus rebate? Wow. No, I don't mean Wow, I mean Uh.......? I thought a little harder and decided that the people who "have theirs already" are the folks who have received their 2007 *refunds* and are now expressing their feelings about IRS asking for something more, which shows how poorly informed they are... :-)

Why is 'I am an attorney' in Italics?

I am an attorney, so I'm suspicious of everything .

I don't know, but this inherrent suspicion must be getting to you.:-)

I went to the poll and looked at the choices and they are all in the same print on my machine. I think your own computer is plotting against you. LOL

And I hope you realize that I am just joking with you, except for the part that all I see are in the same type of print.

Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

It looks like whatever option you select will display in italics.

                  That makes sense

Well, that makes sense, now. I see the Enrolled Agent one in italics, but I'm an EA and would've picked that one. So, do we learn that all lawyers are paranoid from this?
