Has anyone efiled an extension this year yet? I have just efiled one yesterday afternoon but I am yet to receive the acceptance acknowledgment. But I usually receive the acceptance acknowledgment of the tax returns within a few hours. Does an extension usually take longer to get the acceptance acknowledgment?

I sent one in earlier in the season. Seemed to process the same as any other e-filing. Could be delayed a bit since the weekly cycle ended this morning and lots of returns were submitted yesterday? -
I sent one in on Monday and did not get the ack until Wednesday. The regular returns that went in at the same time came back on normal schedule.
LTOnly in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".Comment
