I haven't come across it, but, if it prescribed therapy, administered by a licensed practitioner, there shouldn't be a problem - medical expense, Sch A, subject to 7.5% AGI limitation.

Horses and dolphins are also being used as therapeutic agents for autistic children, and, from the reports I've heard, they are very good for the patient. I can see the deductability.
