    Rebate and EIC

    If a handicapped adult child is claimed for EIC purpose only but can otherwise not be claimed because of too much SS income, is this child eligible for the rebate? I believe so, since I couldn't find anything to the contrary.

      As long as the person cannot be claimed as a dependent, and otherwise meets the other tests, I see no problem with it.
