Morning all, I helped a new client with an IRS bill that ended up reducing the taxpayers IRS bill down to 24% of the taxpayers original amount. The IRS never accepted my amended return but instead negotiated over the phone with me to reach a settlement. I need to recreate the Fed tax return to match the IRS settlement amounts so I can amend the state return but the IRS documents are very confusing. Do any of you Arizona tax preparers have experience in this area and if so can I hire you for about an hour.
